VisionFM’s Space Planning module enables staff to categorize an organization’s space by region, property, building, floor and room, and to simply revise and add multiple elements as required through VisionFM’s live connection with CAD drawings.  Users will find it easy to assign room functions, departments and employees which in turn allow the production of rentable/usable ratios and space chargeback reports.

The information produced by VisionFM’s Space Planning module is utilized by and contributes to the efficiency of each module resulting in a truly integrated application.   An employee’s department and room location is automatically populated when they are submitting an unscheduled work request.  Operating costs can be summarized by chargeable square foot or square metre and related back to the department.  Assets placed in a room will automatically be assigned to the employee and department occupying that room.  These are just a few of the many ways in which VisionFM’s Space Planning module can enhance the facility management of your organization’s space portfolio.
